Single franking of the 1 Mark Reichspostamt, dark carmine red, wartime issue, perforation 25: 16 perforations, watermark 1, on an official form C130 IIa, cancelled with a date stamp "Kreuztal * (Kr. Siegen) * -6. 5. 20 4-5 N" plus a handwritten signature on the stamp. This is a pickup declaration from Berlinger Walzwerk Gmb H to the Imperial Post Office Krombach regarding the collection of postal items, including the official authentication of the signature in the lower part. The stamp is used here as a receipt for the processing fee for issuing the pickup declaration. The form is in typical condition for its age, slightly trimmed at the top and bottom, folded horizontally and vertically, with small tears and creases. Such pieces are very rare, according to literature, because these pieces usually remain in postal records and are destroyed after the retention period. Detailed expertise by Claudius Kroschel VP (2025): "The stamp is fresh in color...in excellent and used condition."
