Correct rate under the 1862 tariff: 9 Kreuzer Postal Union rate and 6 Kreuzer transit through Switzerland, plus 6 Kreuzer onward postage for the Kingdom of Italy. Black "PD" on front for postage paid to destination (Paye a Destinee), reverse with Grand Ducal Baden railway parcel-post mark, Swiss transit mark and Biella (Piedmont), Italy arrival mark.
