One of the most famous stamp forgers of the world was 3 Pfg. red as a Sperati forgery in type B on piece (relaxed and with a hinge fastened), below left slightly touched, certificate Rismondo BPP (08/2008), beautiful piece of a work of Jean D. Sperati, Jean de Sperati (*14. October 1884 in Pisa; ? 27. April 1957 in Aix-reading Bains). His forgeries were so good that even stamp inspectors certified her as genuine from his time. By profession he was printers and an engraver. Due to his outstanding ability to imitate the motive, the paper as well as the print he also was called "Rubens of the philately" ).
