2 s. reddish brown, PRINTING ERROR with inscription TWO ONE HALF SHILLINGS instead of TWO SHILLINGS, regd. trademark flowers, in fresh color, everywhere with good margins copy as a correctly stamped single franking on folded cover with an almost complete contents of cover. LÜBECK cleanly devalues " with a fine, correct pen stroke and together with K2. 16.11. (1859) transport to Hamburg " to a senator, back oval cancel of the Hamburg town postoffice as an arrival postmark. The stamp shows a tiny place restored artistically at the leftly lower corner. The recipient name "Horsch" was used newly. Only 8 covers are registered with this printing error (one is regarded as questionable of this). This cover is the earliest known use of the printing error and the only cover is with pen stroke. Out of the legendary Boker collection 150.000. or DM became two of the known covers with surtaxes of DM 210.000. auctions. Detailed certificate Flemming BPP " ... in my opinion a world rarity. Altogether very attractive "!
