3 degrees of pale brown, white gumming, very fine condition item from top margin as a single franking on cover envelope of the British legation in Hanover, with blue K2 "HANOVER 21 2 (1866)" as a mail organization letter to Munich (arrival postmark) to the sent the British government in Bavaria, Sir Henry Howard. The stamp shows lines broken by "HANOVER" three to the "R". An interesting document for the Prussian-Austrian war of 1866, from Munich wrote Sir. H. H. corr. reports to his government.
