U 47, handwritten fieldpost letter from Kdt Günther Prien (1908-1941, RK EL, "HERO from Scapa Flow"), from Eger 14. 1. 41 to Saxony, enclosed handwritten greetings card with eUvN "Günther Prien, captain lieutenant", written just before the Run out to the 10. enemy tour. Prien fell 7 weeks later start March 1941. very rare piece for the submarine collection!
