1 Penny brown-red, Queen Victoria, alphabet II, plate 156, letters HA, watermark 1 Small Crown, with British Treasury experimental rouletting, so-called "Treasury Roulette", single franking cancelled numeral "74", blue "Mount St. Grosv.Sqre" and red octagonal "FE(??)-1853" datestamp on reverse. Crease trace crosses stamp and envelope at top. Stamp was removed to smooth crease and not replaced exactly in original position. Cover within London to "38 Threadneedle Street". Three Treasury Roulette covers to this address are recorded, all with this characteristic top crease, of little consequence given the rarity.
